Richard Kurti and Bev Doyle are a British scriptwriting team.
The award-winning writing duo Richard Kurti and Bev Doyle most notably adapted Ray Bradbury’s collection of stories The Martian Chronicles (winner, Best Drama Special, 2015 International Radio Program Competition); Sumia Sukkar’s novel The Boy from Aleppo who Painted the War and Isaac Asimov’s I, Robot for BBC Radio 4. Recents credits include the acclaimed Dan Dare: The Audio Adventures series (inspired by the 1950s Eagle comic); docudrama The Space Race; psychological sci-fi thriller The Effect and Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book for Audible (winner, Best Audio Drama, 2016 Audie Awards).
Their numerous television writing credits include Terry Pratchett’s Going Postal (three BAFTA nominations, two Royal Television Society Awards and two RTS nominations) and Unseen Academicals, Stevenson’s Kidnapped and supernatural teen drama series, Wolfblood (four BAFTA nominations).
